Rajshahi’s rail link with country’s other parts halted

Staff Correspondent, Rajshahi: Rajshahi’s rail communications with other parts of the country was halted following a derailment of an oil-laden wagon at Haldiagachi in Charghat upazila on Wednesday evening.
A Chapainawabganj-bound train from Pabna went off the tracks halting movement on the route.
A rescue train from Rajshahi was heading to the accident site at night.
“It’ll take some time to restore the communication” said Jahidul Islam, station master of Rajshahi Railway Station.
