South Korean PM places wreath at National Memorial

Savar Correspondent: South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon paid rich tributes to the liberation war martyrs of Bangladesh by placing a wreath at the National Memorial at Savar on Sunday morning.

After placing the wreath, he stood in solemn silence for some time as a mark of profound respect to the memory of patriotic souls.

A smartly turned out contingent drawn from army, navy and air forces presented a guard of honour at that time.

Lee also signed a visitors` book and planted a sapling there.
