1,712 dengue patients admitted to hospitals in a day

Staff Correspondent: 1,712 people were admitted to hospitals after being diagnosed with dengue in last 24 hours.

Of them, 1,150 dengue cases were reported in the capital alone. Again, 222 dengue patients were admitted to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) alone and 562 dengue patients admitted outside Dhaka.

A day ago (July 31), the number of dengue cases all over the country was 1,477, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

As per this estimate, 235 more dengue patients have been admitted to hospitals in a span of a day.
