Technique to control Aedes mosquitoes invented

Savar Correspondent: Scientists of Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC) have invented a technique, Sterile Insect Technique (SIT), to combat Aedes mosquitoes which are responsible for dengue fever.

Science and Technology Minister Architect Yeafesh Osman has also given a directive to use the technology very soon to prevent dengue outbreak in the country.

The information was disclosed by a press release signed by BAEC Director Dr. Swapan Kumar Chakraborty on Saturday morning.
