No one to be allowed to travel on train roof

Senior Correspondent: A good number of passengers choose train roof to travel due to heavy pressure of home-bound people taking risk during Eid vacation every year.

But, no one will be allowed to travel on train roof this time. Standing ticket systems will be taken for the additional passengers.

Station Manager of Kamalapur Railway Station Aminul Haque told risingbd, “Standing will be provided in four special trains for the sake of passengers. We will try that all trains can move maintaining schedule.”

A total of 30 percent standing tickets will be sold before two hours of train departure. Advance return tickets for for August 15, 16, 17, and 18 will be sold on August 6, 7, 8 and 9 August respectively.
