9 promoted to secretaries

Secretariat Correspondent: A total of nine government officials have been promoted to the posts of secretaries.

The Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard on Sunday.  

Those promoted are- acting secretary of home ministry Md Shahiduzzaman, acting member (acting secretary) of planning commission Md Jakaria Hossain Akanda, acting secretary of youth and sports ministry KM Ali Azam, acting secretary (coordination and reform) of cabinet division Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, acting secretary of textile and jute ministry Mohammad Belayet Hossain, acting secretary of health and family welfare ministry Sheikh Yusuf Harun and acting secretary of Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre (BPATC) Md Rakib Hossain.
