‘Action if extra fare taken’

Senior Correspondent: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader warned that action will be taken if any complaints found regarding extra fare during Eid-ul-Azha journey.
Obaidul made the opinion while addressing reporters at his secretariat office in the capital on Monday noon.
He said, “Passenger service should be increased at terminals. Our vigilance will remain active. Mobile court will take action if anyone demand extra fare.”
Meanwhile, he urged transport owners to leave the extra fare seeking tendency.
Obaidul Quader said, control room of road transport authority will remain active from August 6 to August 17 centering Eid travel. The CNG stations started nonstop gas supply from August 1. All kinds of trucks, covered vans and other heavy vehicles will remain suspended for 3 days.
