Dengue patients increasing outside Dhaka

Staff Correspondent: At least, 2,332 new dengue patients were hospitalized between Saturday 8:00am to Sunday 8:00am across the country. Of them, 981 in Dhaka and 1,353 outside of Dhaka fell to dengue onslaught.

That means, the number of dengue infected people have been increasing day by day in district towns including the capital Dhaka.

Dr Ayesha Aktar, assistant director of Emergency Operations Centre and Control Room of Health Directorate said, so far 40 people have died due to dengue fever across the country from January 1 till today.

According to the information of control room, at least 41,178 dengue patients have hospitalized in the country. Of them, 32,384 got release from hospital after taking treatment.
