Shop employee stabbed

Medical Correspondent: A shop employee was injured after being stabbed by muggers in front of the gate of Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) in the capital early Saturday.

The shop employee was identified as Kawsar, 35. He works at a fish shop in the capital's Karwan Bazar.

Md Shahidul Islam, owner of the shop, took him to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 4:00am.

Bachchu Mia, in-charge of the DMCH Police Outpost, confirmed the matter.
