Number of dengue patients rising in Jhenaidah

Jhenaidah Correspondent: The number of dengue cases is on the rise in Jhenaidah.

A total of 409 persons being already affected by this mosquito-borne disease in the district. Of them, 46 are currently taking treatment in hospitals and rest others get released.

Besides, six more patients have been admitted to hospitals in last 24 hours.

Doctors said that although the number of dengue patients started decreasing here but number of dengue infected patients increased again this week. However, there is nothing to be panicked.

Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital caretaker and acting civil surgeon Ayub Ali said sufficient dengue kits are kept in the hospital.
