Rangpur-3 by-polls Saturday

By-polls to Rangpur-3 constituency, which was left vacant after the death of Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman Hussain Muhammad Ershad, will be held on Saturday (October 5).

Voting will start from 9:00am and will continue till 5:00pm.

Meanwhile, Election Commission (EC) has taken all-out preparations to hold the election peacefully in all 175 centres. The voting will be held using electronic voting machine (EVM) across the constituency.

A total of 4,41,224 people are expected to exercise their franchise in the election.

Of them, male voters are 2,20,823 while female 2,20,401.
