Anti-graft crackdown in coordination of all agencies: Benzir

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Director General Benazir Ahmed said that the ongoing anti-graft drives are being conducted in coordination of all the agencies of the government. I cannot say that RAB is conducting the drive alone, rather all agencies are conducting raids collectively.

He came up with the remarks after visiting Pooja Pavilion at the capital’s Banani on Friday noon.

The RAB Chief said this drive is against the corruption. Those who committed corruption in the past, raids are being conducted against them on the basis of specific evidence and information. We have already got a primary idea who earned or laundered how much money by corruption. We are conducting drives on the basis we got information.

Not only in Dhaka, the drive is conducting everywhere of the country, he added.
