Abrar murder: Hearing on writ seeking compensation Tuesday

The High Court will hear tomorrow (Tuesday) the writ petition seeking Tk 10 crore as compensation to the family members of Abrar Fahad.

A high court beach headed by Justice Moyeenul Islam Chowdhury fixed the date after hearing on the writ petition on Monday.

Supreme Court lawyer Advocate AKM Fayez filed the writ petition on Sunday with the High Court.

Abrar, a second-year student of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department of BUET, was beaten to death inside the university’s Sher-e-Bangla Hall on October 7.
