We are ready to face Bulbul: Quader

Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader said the government has taken all out preparations to face cyclonic storm ‘Bulbul’.

“The Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina also instructed the party leaders and activists to stand by people of coastal area during the natural calamity,” he said.

The Road Transport and Bridges Minister came up with the statement in a press conference at AL president’s political office in the capital’s Dhanmondi on Saturday.

Quader said all of administration have already been alerted. Awareness campaign for people is being conducted through loud speakers. Nearly 18 lakh people were evacuated to safe shelters.
