Universities to stop evening courses

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has asked the public universities to stop evening courses.

The apex body of all the affiliated public, private and international universities of Bangladesh issued 13-point direction in this regard on Wednesday.

Letter regarding the direction has been sent to the vice chancellors of the public universities.

The direction signed by UGC member Professor Dr. Dil Afroza Begum reads, the administration of evening courses should be stopped as it is damaging the image of public universities.
