Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen has said that we do not want to do anything by force to return Rohingyas to their homeland. We want peaceful Rohingya repatriation.
The minister said this at the inaugural function of a photo exhibition on Rohingya refugees at Shilpakala Academy in the city on Thursday.
“Myanmar says many things but the country is not taking back Rohingyas. Hearing on a case filed by Gambia has begun at International Criminal Court, and we expect the right verdict”, he said.
About 11,00000 Rohingyas are in camps in Bangladesh after they were driven out of Myanmar's Rakhine state during military crackdowns, he added.
