PM directs steps to protect country from coronavirus

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has directed the authority concerned to take all kinds of steps to protect Bangladesh from coronavirus.

The Premier said this while addressing a separate meeting with ministers and high officials after the regular cabinet meeting on Monday.

Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam briefed reporters about the outcome of the meeting at Prime Minister’s office.

He said, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina joined a separate meeting with ministers. Some decisions have been taken to face coronavirus during the meeting. The returnees from China will remain under observation for 14 days.
