High Court orders to ban gambling across the country

The High Court has declared gambling illegal in exchange of money across the country including 13 elite clubs.

At the same time, the court also has directed law enforcing agencies to take immediate actions to stop gambling in these clubs.

A bench of Justice Sheikh Hasan Arif and Justice Md. Mahmud Hasan Talukdar announced the verdict on Monday.

Barrister Radwan Ahmed Ranjib stood for the petitioner.
