Deputy secretary found dead inside house in capital

Police recovered the decomposed body of a deputy secretary from his house in the capital's Bailey Road area on Wednesday midnight.

The deceased was identified as Abdul Kader Chowdhury, 60, deputy secretary at labour and employment ministry.

The body of the deceased was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 12:44 am.

 

Sub-Inspector of Ramna Thana Yunus Molla said Abdul Kader Chowdhury used to live alone on the third floor of 1/5 no house at Bailey Road. Local residents informed police after getting acute stench from the house and law enforcers found the body. He was suffering from critical disease for a long time.
