DU student killed in road accident

A student of Dhaka University (DU) was killed as a bus hit his motorcycle at Mohakhali in the city on Friday evening.

The accident took place around 7.00pm in front of Setu Bhaban.

The deceased was identified as Foysal Ahmed, 28, son of Abul Hossain at Kowkhali in Pirojpur. He was a student of the Dhaka University’s evening course.

He used to reside in Pireerbagh area of Mirpur.

According to police, a bus of Ena Paribahan hit his motorcycle, leaving him critically injured. He was immediately taken to Kurmitola General Hospital where duty doctors declared him dead.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical Colllege Hospital for autopsy.
