GK Shamim gets bail but state knows nothing!

Expelled Jubo League leader GK Shamim, who was arrested over casino scandal, has secured bail in arms case in the High Court (HC).
The HC bench of Justice AKM Asaduzzaman and Justice SM Mozibur Rahman granted the bail for six months on February 6.
Sources of the concern court confirmed the news to risingbd on Saturday.
G K Shamim’s petition was also found in the cause list of February 6 as S M Golam at 135 no spot.
However, Deputy Attorney General of the concern court F R Khan told risingbd that he knows nothing about bail of G K Shamim.
He said, “I will see the matter. If he secures bail the state will appeal against it.”
Meanwhile, GK Shamim’s lawyer Showkat Osman told risingbd that he (Shamim) secured bail in arms case in HC. He also got bail in a narcotics case from another bench of HC on February 4.
