Hajj flight to begin June 23

The first Hajj flight for pilgrims will leave Dhaka for Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on June 23.
State Minister for Religious Affairs Advocate Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah disclosed this at a press briefing at the Secretariat on Sunday noon.
Coronavirus will not affect the hajj activities. There is no possibility of financial loss for the pilgrims who are registered. Saudi authorities will take actions to resolve any problem, he said.
The Holy Hajj will be held on July 30 (9 Jilhajj) depending on the moon sighting. The authorities of Biman Bangladesh Airlines will complete all preparations for conducting scheduled Hajj flights without any delay, he also said.
