Three infected with coronavirus now good

Health Minister Zahid Malique said condition of the three people diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country is now good.

The health minister came up with the information while briefing on the latest situation of the coronavirus at his secretariat office in Dhaka on Thursday noon.

Zahid Malique said, “Three people diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country is now in good condition. All those who are in quarantine are not ill. Tests were conducted on two of those quarantined but none of them is found to be infected with the coronavirus.”

He urged Bangladeshi expatriates not to return home right now in a bid to contain the spread of coronavirus in the country.

The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the coronavirus outbreak as a global pandemic on Wednesday (March 11).
