Abrar murder case shifted to Speedy Trial Tribunal

The government has shifted the sensational Abrar murder case to speedy trial tribunal.

According to the section-6 of act 2002, the government took the decision.

Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq approved a file in this regard on Thursday (March 12). As a result, the case will be run at the court of Dhaka Speedy Tribunal01.

Earlier, family members of the victim met law minister and requested him to send the case to speedy trial tribunal.

On October 7 last year, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) student Abrar Fahad was allegedly beaten to death at the university's Sher-e-Bangla Hall.
