Probe report of Shomi Kaiser’s case on April 19

A new date has been set for filing the report on 'further investigation' in a defamation case filed against actress Shomi Kaiser. 

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ziaur Rahman fixed the new date as Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) failed to submit the report on Monday (March 23).

Miah Md. Nuzhatul Hasan, journalist of a news portal filed the case on April 30, last year.

According to the case statement, the actress allegedly misbehaved with journalists when she lost her two smartphones in a programme at Jatiya Press Club in the capital.
