Govt extends ban on public transport till Apr 11

The government has extended the ongoing suspension of all kinds of public tranports till April 11, in a bid to prevent the deadly coronavirus spread.

However, all goods-laden vehicles and vehicles transporting emergency services will remain out of the purview of this suspension.

The Road Transport and Highways Division took the decision on Saturday.

The government also strictly banned on transporting passengers on goods-laden vehicles.

A press release signed by Abu Naser, deputy chief information officer of the road transport and highways division revealed the news.
