30 coronavirus patients recover in Bangladesh

A total of 30 people who were diagnosed with coronavirus or COVID-19 have so far recovered from the virus and returned home.

 Prof Meerjady Sabrina Flora, director of Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR), came up with the information at a regular online media briefing on Saturday (April 4).

Flora said, "So far, a total of 30 coronavirus infected people have recovered and 32 patients are undergoing treatment. Of those 32 patients, 20 are being treated at hospitals and the remaining 12 are undergoing treatment at their homes."

She said, "553 samples have been collected in last 24 hours across the country of which 434 samples have been tested. Nine more people have been found to be infected with coronavirus following the tests."
