76 families put under lockdown in city’s Sabujbag

Some 76 families have been put under lockdown at Nandipara-Dakshingaon area under Sabujbag police station in the capital to prevent the coronavirus spread.

A tea vendor and 5 other members of his family of the area tested positive for coronavirus.

Mahbub Alam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sabujbag Police Station, confirmed the news on Monday noon.

He said first 32 families of 9 houses were put under lockdown. Later, several more other families included in it. Now a total of 76 families were put under lockdown in the area to prevent the deadly virus spread.
