Close kitchen markets, super shops by 5pm: DMP

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has issued a new directive to close all kitchen markets and super shops in the capital by 5:00pm.

DMP media wing chief Masudur Rahman confirmed the development on Sunday.

He said the kitchen markets and super shops could be opened till 5:00pm as per the new directive. Besides, shops in different parha-mahalla could be opened from 6:00am from 2:00pm every day.

However, shops and vehicle of emergency services will remain out of the purview of the directive.
