Another policeman dies of Covid-19 infection

Another police official infected with Covid-19 has died, taking the death toll of policemen from the virus to five.

A sub-inspector died at Central Police Hospital in Dhaka on Saturday morning.

Police headquarters confirmed the news.

Hailed from Jamalpur, he was a sub-inspector of Public Order Management of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.  He was admitted at the hospital since April 27. The body was sent to his village home where he will be buried.
