114 Bangladeshi nationals return home from UK

A total of 114 Bangladeshi nationals, who were stranded in the UK amid flight suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic, have returned home by a special chartered flight.

Biman’s Deputy General Manager (PR) Tahera Khondokar told media that the special flight of the national flag carrier landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) here from the UK at 9:40am on Monday (May 11) bringing back 114 Bangladeshi nationals.
