17 more cops infected with corona in last 24 hrs

17 more police members have tested positive for coronavirus or COVID-19 in last 24 hours, raising the total number of infected cops across the country to 1,943.

Police Headquarters revealed the information on Thursday (May 14) afternoon.

Besides, 3,091 policemen have been quarantined as they came into close contact with the infected people while 1,152 more isolated, it cited.
