Budget session begins

The second budget session (8th session) of the 11th parliament has begun amid coronavirus pandemic.

The session started at 5:04pm on Wednesday with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.

The parliament proceedings will be continued for 12 working days in this session.

Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal will place the proposed national budget for 2020-21 fiscal year in the House on Thursday.
