5 including 4 policemen injured in Pallabi bomb blast

At least five people including four policemen have sustained injuries in a bomb blast at Pallabi Thana in the city.

The incident occurred around 6:00am on Wednesday when they were trying to defuse a bomb.

Among the injured, PSI Romeo and civilion Riaz-have been admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital and one to National Institute of Ophthalmology & Hospital. 

Other injured are Inspector Imran, Sub-Inspector Sajib and PSI Angkur.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Pallabai Thana Nazrul Islam said in a drive a bomb was recovered from Kalshi graveyard, and it blasted when policemen were trying to defuse the bomb.
