Department of Immigration and Passport (DIP) gets new DG

The government has appointed Major General Ayub Chowdhury as the new director general (DG) of the Department of Immigration and Passport (DIP).

Ministry of Public Administration issued an order in this regard on Wednesday (July 29).

Major General Ayub Chowdhury will be replacing Major General Shakil Ahmed, former DG of the DIP.

Besides, Major General Shakil Ahmed has been posted to the Army.
