India and China greet PM Sheikh Hasina on birthday

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Communist Party of China (CPC) have greeted Bangladesh Premier Sheikh Hasina on the occasion of her 74th birthday to be celebrated on Monday (September 28).

Sources of Gono Bhabon, PM’s official residence, confirmed the matter on Sunday (September 27).

Indian premier Modi wrote in his greeting’s message that Bangladesh has achieved immense social and economic transformation by Sheikh Hasina’s visionary leadership.

Modi recalled the role of PM Sheikh Hasina in the development of relations between the two countries.

It was learned that outgoing Indian High Commissioner Riva Ganguly Das handed over Narendra Modi’s letter to the Prime Minister.

Meanwhile, the Communist Party of China (CPC) also lauded PM Sheikh Hasina in its greeting message.
The relationship between the Chinese Communist Party and the Awami League will be closer in the coming days, CPC hopes.
