ACC wants documents of MP Mahfuzur

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) issued a letter to Mahfuzur Rahman, a member of the parliamentary standing committee on the Ministry of Shipping seeking documents to investigate graft allegations.

The watchdog issued the letter signed by its director ACC assistant director (Special investigation and Probe-1) Md Shafi Ullah asking the documents on Thursday (October 8). The accused was asked to provide the documents by November 3.

Earlier on October 6, ACC took the decision to start investigation against him and appointed ACC director (special investigation and probe-1) Kazi Shafiqul Alam as an investigation officer.

Mahfuzur Rahaman is a politician of Awami League and the incumbent Member of Parliament from Chittagong-3.
