Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam said this at a briefing at the Secretariat.

He said, “We are saying orally ‘No mask, no service’, but it has to be applied practically. It is necessary to ensure that who will come without mask, he/she should not get service in any way in government and private offices. A The local government division has been given a big role over this.”

‘No Mask, No Service’ - is being widely publicised through the local government. In rural areas, teachers, journalists, public representatives, conscious people of the society have all been involved in this work, he said.

Anwarul Islam said, “The Prime Minister has instructed that as (coronavirus) is spreading across the world, it is necessary for us to take a little stronger action to maintain social distance as much as possible. The issue of masks is being discussed again and again.”

He said, “Now there is an advantage, we can understand. We had no idea in March, April, May. Now the treatment protocol is being understood, the handling management is being understood.”
