Foodland Halal Supermarket opens in Boston April 10

The much-anticipated international standard halal supermarket for expatriate Bangladeshis is set to be inaugurated in Lowell, the nearest suburb city of Boston, Massachusetts.

Lowell City Mayor John Leahy will officially inaugurate the name of ‘Foodland’ at 9:00 am on Saturday (April 10).

Several local Bangladeshi businessmen jointly planned to launch this international standard halal supermarket.

Local businessmen said that long-cherished expectation of the expatriate Bangladeshis living in Boston and surrounding cities will be fulfilled on Saturday. 

Thousands of Muslims including Bangladeshis in Massachusetts, have no halal supermarket for them. It is learnt that everything can be available at an affordable price at the Foodland supermarket.
