Minimum age for getting Covid-19 vaccine being set at 35

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has decided to lower the age limit for registration of coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccines. Now 35-year-old people can also register to get the vaccine.

Earlier, the minimum age for registration was set at 40 years. A notification in this regard will be published soon.

The Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Prof Dr ABM Khurshid Alam came up with the information around 11:00am on Monday (July 05).

“From now on, people of 35 years old can register for getting the Covid-19 vaccine. A notification in this regard will be issued within one or two days,” he said.
