Pori Moni to be kept at RAB headquarters overnight

Popular film actress Pori Moni has been taken to the headquarters of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) after she was detained from her Banani residence in the capital on Wednesday (August 4) evening.

She will be kept there over the night. She will be produced before a Dhaka court on Thursday (August 5) morning.

Earlier, the actress was held from her residence with a huge quantity of drugs.

Commander Khandaker Al Moin, director of Legal and Media Wing of RAB, told risingbd that Pori Moni would be interrogated here primarily. Then, she would be shown arrested in a case and produced before a court.

According to RAB, Pori Moni was taken to the headquarters of the elite force after 9:00pm. She is currently under the custody of female members of RAB.
