Pori Moni, 3 others shown arrested in drug case

Actress Pori Moni and three others have been shown arrested in a drug case filed by the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB).

The headquarters of the elite force confirmed the matter on Thursday noon (August 5).

ASP ANM Imran Khan, Senior Assistant Director, Legal and Media Wing of RAB headquarters told risingbd that details will be disclosed later in this regard.

The four detainees’ are- Pori Moni, Nazrul Islam alias Raz, Pori Moni’s driver and housemaid.

Sources said that another case under digital security action would be filed against them.

Earlier on Wednesday afternoon, the RAB conducted a raid at the home of Dhallywood actor Pori Moni in Banani. Meanwhile, drugs items including foreign liquor, hallucinogenic drug called lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) were recovered from her residence.
