Filmmaker Chayanika Chowdhury arrested

The Detective Branch of police arrested celebrated television director Chayanika Chowdhury from Panthapath area of the capital.

She was arrested on Friday evening (August 6).

DMP media wing additional deputy police commissioner (ADC) Iftekharuzzamnan told risingbd, “I have also heard about the detention. Details will be disclosed later.”

Chayanika Chowdhury is a Bangladeshi television drama director. She has been directing television dramas since 2001, and as of September 2017, she has directed 347 dramas.
