ringID director arrested

Members of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) have arrested Saiful Islam, director of e-commerce organization ringID.

CID issued a press release in this regard on Saturday.

According to the press release, he was arrested from Brahmanbaria on Friday.

Earlier on September 30, a case was filed against 15 people including Saiful Islam with Bhatara Thana under Digital Security Act.

According to the case statement, the organizations embezzled Tk 23.94 crore in May, Tk 109.13 crore in June and Tk 79.38 crore in July from people.

CID will apply to take the accused under remand for interrogation

Police super Rezaul Masud has been appointed as investigation officer to probe the case, the press release also said.
