RJ Nirob remanded

A Dhaka court has placed Humayun Kabir Nirob alias RJ Nirob, Communication and Public Relations Officer of e-commerce platform ‘Qcoom’, on a-day remand in a fraud case over e-commerce scandal.

Detective Branch (DB) police of Tejgaon Division have arrested RJ Nirob, Communication and Public Relations Officer of e-commerce site Qcoom.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Begum Mahmuda Akter passed the order on Friday (October 8) after hearing in the case.

Earlier, SI Ruhul Amin of Tejgaon Industrial Thana of Detective Branch (DB), also the Investigation Officer (IO) of the case, produced him before the court and sought a five-day remand in the case filed by a victim with Tejgaon Police Station on Thursday (October 7) night.

RJ Neerab was arrested from his Adabor residence of the capital early Friday.

Earlier, Police arrested Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Qcoom Ripon Mia.
