One dead in Kaptan Bazar fire

One person has died after a fire broke out in the shops of Kaptan Bazar in the city early Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Yeasin, 21, an employee of a shop.

The fire originated around 4.45am.

On information, 12 units of fire service rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control with an effort of one hour.

Duty Officer of Fire Service Headquarters Dewan Azad confirmed the news. 

However, the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage could not be known yet.
