Legendary writer Qazi Anwar Hussain died at a hospital in the capital on Wednesday afternoon (January 19).
Masuma Maymur, Daughter-in-law of the writer confirmed the matter to risingbd.
On October 31 last year, Kazi Anwar Hussain was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Then, he suffered from brain stroke and heart attack. He was put on life support on January 10, she said.
The Bangladeshi writer mainly wrote spy thriller, detective, and adventure-based novels. He created the popular Masud Rana series of Sheba Prokashoni.
