Gold price drops again

Gold prices reduced again in one week due to a price fall in the international market.

As per the fixed rate, a reduction of Tk1,076 was announced per bhori for 22 karat and 21k gold, according to a release issued by the Bangladesh Jewelers’ Association on Monday (March 21) night.

The new price would be effective from today (March 22), the release added.

Per bhori 22k gold will now retail at Tk77,099.4 and per bhori 21k gold at Tk73,599.84.

Per bhori 18k gold will sell at Tk63,120.24 after reduction of the price by Tk955 and per bhori gold (sanatan) at Tk52,604.64 after reduction of the price by Tk776. The price of silver (Rupa) will remain unchanged.
