New Market clash: Another victim Mursalin dies

Md Mursalin, 24, who sustained critical injuries during the clash between shop employees and Dhaka College Students in the New Market area, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital early Thursday.

He died at the intensive care unit (ICU) of DMCH at 4:38 am.

Md Bachchu Mia, DMCH police camp in-charge (inspector), confirmed the death.

With this, the number of death toll has reached two.

He was an employee of a pants shop in New Market. He used to live in West Rasulpur area of Kamrangirchar. His wife's name is Oni Akhter Mitu. They have one son and one daughter.

Earlier, Nahid, who sustained critical injuries during the clash between shop employees and Dhaka College Students, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Tuesday night.

He was an employee of a courier service in the Bata Signal area at Elephant Road.
