13 die in road crashes on Eid day

At least 13 people died in several road accidents in Tangail, Sirajganj, Cumilla, Mymensingh, Gazipur, Lakshmipur, Madaripur and Manikganj on the day of Eid-ul-Fitr.

In Tangail, two people were killed in road accident on Tuesday afternoon in Kuchamara bridge area of Dhanbari.

In Sirajganj, a motorcyclist died at the scene after his bike hit an Approach Bridge in Dhopagari area in Tarash-Ranihat road yesterday.

In Cumilla, three people lost their lives in separate road accidents in Chandina and Chauddagram.

In Mymensingh, three people named Al-Mamun, Din Islam and Jakaria Mia died in two separate road crashes.

In Gazipur, a person was killed when a bus rammed a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in the district on Eid day.

Similarly, our local correspondents in Lakshmipur, Madaripur and Manikganj reported three more deaths from road accidents on Tuesday.
